Stolen Moments Concert

The Stolen Moments cultural group shares the Stolen Moments - Namibian Music History Untold narrative through free concerts in the different local communities. The musical repertoire consists of forgotten songs from all language groups in the country, which are performed partly in traditional and partly in modern arrangements. celebrates Namibia's popular music history that was banned and made impossible under apartheid. Thirty-three years after Namibia's democratization, Stolen Moments commemorates fundamental aspects of collective cultural identity that were suppressed by censorship and erased from official memory.
