Coming Home Dead

Returning to the main stage of the National Theatre of Namibia(NTN) is the independent theatrical production, “Coming Home Dead,” which deconstructs the tortured history and the contemporary psyche of the 1904-1908 German Genocide through a poetic odyssey of interwoven elements of poetry, music, ritual and archival materials which evoke the restoration of dignity for the descendants of the genocide.

This acclaimed original play, which is produced by Creative Culture Investments(CCI), previously premiered at the NTN on 1 December, 2023, and it is written and performed by acclaimed Namibian poet, Keith Vries and directed by the visionary Namibian dramaturge, Patrick Sam.
