A lounge singer has to navigate love and war in German-occupied France of the early 40’s.
In German-occupied France at the start of WW2, a woman with a secret to hide, arrives in Paris. She takes up lodging in a brothel, where no questions will be raised and earns her keep singing and enthralling soldiers in the cafe below it. There, she falls in and out of love and into danger.
